アンリ・ダルナより取得したモノポール畑「クロ・リシュモン」。
ボワイヨ家はヴォルネーで最も古い家系の1つでドメーヌ設立は1885年。現当主のアンリと息子のギヨームがドメーヌを担っています。完璧主義者で知られ、ピュリニーとヴォルネーを中心に約16haの畑を所有しています。
クロ・リシュモンは新たに取得したモノポール畑で、2019VINが初ヴィンテージ。1級レ・クラの一角にある区画。樽で発酵、熟成12ヶ月(新樽率60%)。
白いモモやレモンの果実にアカシアの花や菩提樹のアロマに白胡椒のニュアンス。豊かなミネラルを思わせる風味があり、力強くパワフル。緻密でなめらか、フィネスを感じるワイン。

■2019年ヴィンテージ情報■
【気候について】
近年同様、温暖な冬となった。12月は穏やかで雨が多かった。この数年、ブルゴーニュは春と冬が無くなり、季節は秋と夏の2つになってしまったようだ。3月は非常に暑く、土壌は湿っていて、ブドウ樹はすぐ目を覚ました。
3月末から4月の頭に霜が起こり、ブドウ樹を守る対策に追われたが、幸運にも被害はなかった。
4月は暑く、5月は快適な気候で、ブドウ樹は早く成長していった。
暑く乾燥した気候が望ましい6月頭の開花の時期に、雨が多く、非常に涼しい気候となった。その為、ブドウの花の受粉が上手く行われない、花ぶるいが起こってしまい、その結果、収量が前年と比べて45%も減ってしまうこととなった。
夏の間は暑く、時折雨が降った。
収穫は9月6日に始まった。年々、早熟になってきているヴォルネーの村名畑から収穫を開始。白はムルソーのプルミエクリュから収穫を始め、その後ピュリニーとコルトン・シャルルマーニュを収穫した。数日後にコートドニュイのグランクリュの収穫で終了した。
【白ワイン】
2つのプルミエクリュ、ムルソー・クロリシュモン モノポールとムルソー・グットドールが新たにドメーヌのラインアップに加わった。
2016年や2017年のテクスチャーに似ている。アプリコットのような黄色い果実と白い花の香りにマンダリンやレモン、グレープフルーツ等の柑橘系果実の皮のような凝縮度を感じさせるニュアンス。非常に美しい酸、フレッシュ感があり、ピュアでシャープな味わい。
2018年は早くから楽しめるヴィンテージだったが、2019年は2018年よりも飲み頃になるのに時間がかかるヴィンテージ。
【赤ワイン】
コートドボーヌの赤はサクランボやイチゴ、フランボワーズなどの赤い果実のアロマに白胡椒にほのかにタバコのニュアンス。タンニンはシルキーで非常にピュアでフレッシュ感あふれる。とてもエレガントで2010年を思わせる。
コートドニュイの赤はカシスやブルーベリー、ブラックベリー、非常に熟したブラックチェリーなどの黒い果実のアロマ。タンニンはエレガントだが、顕著で、力強く、余韻が長い。熟成に向いた年である。

The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Clos Richemont is the first rendition of a newly acquired monopole chez Boillot, and it has turned out nicely, bursting with notes of pear, beeswax, nutmeg, woodsmoke and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, ample and lively, it can't match the concentration of the house's Perrieres or Gouttes d'Or, but it's very charming in its more open-knit style.
Guillaume Boillot began the harvest on September 6, as usual starting in Volnay. Yields were down, and alcohol levels ranged between 13% and 14.2%. "My father told me to frame the must analyses, as one couldn't hope for anything more perfect," he laughed. Whereas in 2018, Boillot was able to press all his white wines with a vertical basket press, in 2019 he reverted to a pneumatic press, explaining that even after foulage (crushing), it was simply too difficult to extract juice from the thick-skinned small berries that characterized the vintage. "Vinification integrale," which is to say barrel fermentation of red wines, is still the order of the day for most of the red wine cuvees at this address. The other trend, which sharp-eyed readers will have picked up on, is a move toward more and more domaine-grown fruit: first came the Pommard 1er Cru Clos Blanc, which joined the range in 2018, and this year the Meursault 1er Cru Clos Richemont enters the portfolio. Boillot tells me that he has ambitions to continue this gradual transition. The 2019 vintage, in any case, is a great success, achieving both impressive quality and consistency, and these wines come warmly recommended.
